LOCKDOWN - 12 stories, 12 directors, one location

"Lockdown" is a short-form fiction series consisting of 12 episodes (10 minutes each), directed by 12 different directors, set in a single, COVID-safe location: the visitor's area of a prison. Each episode tells a self-contained story of two people, each on one side of the glass that divides them and, in a profound way, their worlds.

"Lockdown" wants to showcase the resilience of the Flemish audiovisual sector, seizing the opportunity to bring together Flemish talent in a generous and unprecedented manner—made possible by the exceptional availability of artists during these times. Over 70 creatives from the industry will be employed in this initiative by Gilles Coulier ("De Dag," "War of the Worlds") and Maarten Moerkerke ("THIEVES OF THE WOODS" "13 COMMANDMENTS"), co-produced by Gilles De Schryver of De Wereldvrede and Guy Goedgezelschap of Lecter Scripted Media.

“lockdown” won THE Student prize for best short form series at cannes séries 2021
