Six standalone stories inspired by famous criminal cases that shocked the Belgian society. The stories didn't aim at reconstructing or explaining the crimes but were, by fictionalizing them, merely an attempt to look into the assumed or alleged mind of the culprit. The series was presented to the press by the network on a very short notice: two days before the first episode aired. Lawyers and victims involved in the cases weren't well informed about the series or how the cases were presented and started understandably to raise concerns. The press, however, joined them somehow too enthusiastically. Although none of the involved parties had seen all of the episodes, moral and ethical issues colored the often wrongly- and misinformed opinions, so eventually the network decided to broadcast only one episode and abort the production. Six episodes were fully produced, the remaining seven canceled.
